Affiliate terms

The scheme
The LinkACode affiliate scheme is run by OMWSD LTD (company number 17452769), which operates LinkACode. These terms are in addition to the terms of service.
Joining
Anyone aged 18 or over with a LinkACode account can apply. We decide each application ourselves and do not have to give a reason. One affiliate code per person or business.
Your code
Your code gives anyone except you 35% off any new LinkACode code. It does not apply to renewals. We may change the discount, giving you at least 14 days' notice.
Site credit
Each new code bought by card with your code earns you site credit equal to that product's full list price, except your first sale, which earns none. If your first sale is refunded, your next sale counts as your first. Orders paid wholly or partly with credit do not earn credit.
Credit becomes usable 14 days after the sale. If the sale is refunded before then, its credit is cancelled; if afterwards, the same amount is taken from your balance, which can go below zero until later credit makes it up.
Credit can only be spent on LinkACode codes and renewals for your own account. It has no cash value. It cannot be exchanged for money, transferred, sold or given away, and codes or renewals obtained with it are for your own use and may not be resold or passed on to anyone else. For now, credit has to cover the whole of an order to be used on it.
Credit ends if your account is closed. If we end the scheme, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, and credit you can already use will stay usable for at least six months after it ends.
How you promote it
- Be honest. Do not make up claims, prices or promises, and do not suggest you are LinkACode or speak for us.
- Make it clear you are an affiliate whenever you share your code, for example with "#ad" or "affiliate link", as UK advertising rules require.
- No spam: do not message people who have not agreed to hear from you.
- Follow the law where you and your audience are.
Not allowed
Using your own code; having anyone buy through it on your behalf; creating accounts to buy through it; or anything else designed to earn credit without a genuine sale. Credit earned that way can be cancelled.
Promoting it for anything illegal or against our terms
You must not promote your code for any purpose that is illegal, or that breaks the terms of service, including using LinkACode to reach anything people do not have the right to access. If we find that you have, we will ban your account, your code will stop working, and we will cancel your credit. We will also write to everyone who bought through your code, telling them that the affiliate whose code they used was banned for promoting LinkACode for illegal purposes or against our terms, and that if they bought for such a purpose they must stop and close their account. We will not name you in that notice.
Our rights
We may pause or end your affiliate status, and cancel credit gained in breach of these terms, if you break them. We may change these terms, giving you at least 14 days' notice of anything that affects credit you have earned.
Tax and our relationship
You are responsible for any tax due on what you receive. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and cannot make promises on our behalf.
Your information
We keep your application and a record of each sale made with your code and the credit it earned, to run the scheme. You see that a sale happened and what was bought, never who bought it. See privacy.
